House of the Indian

Previously belonging to the Ceas family, this attractive house was acquired in the 18th century by Juan Cosme, who had made his fortune in the Americas: hence the popular name, House of the Indian. All that remains of the Medieval structure is the façade, which looks out onto the Plaza Angel de Torres. The main doorway is topped with a lintel and above it stands a series of attractive balconies, all decorated in Mudejar style.

Despite undergoing repairs in the 20th century, it still preserves its original 15th century structure.
