
To achieve our objective of competitiveness through quality tourism, a Strategic Plan for Tourism has been developed in the city, which is being put into practice through the Cordoba Tourist Board, acting as the managing agency, between the years 2009 and 2012. The power given to this organization is being channelled towards responding to the new challenges facing the city of Cordoba and is based on the following principles: Sustainability, Participation, Accessibility, Quality, Differentiation, Product creation and marketing, a greater involvement of the business sector in the development of tourism and keeping up regular coordination between the government departments.
